Arrangements in the city ||Arreglos en la ciudad [ENG/ESP]
I don't just work in the city of Buenos Aires; my job allows me to walk freely through its streets, which is why many of my posts are about old buildings or historical monuments, since I like to take photographs of those things and then share them with you.
Today I took a photo of this street that's being repaired, but to raise awareness of an unusual situation.
On the one hand, it's good that the city government is paying attention to the broken sidewalks, which are often broken by Edesur (the city's electricity company).
But on the other hand, it's unacceptable that this sidewalk has been under repair for three weeks, especially in the city's historic center, where the sidewalks are very narrow and you have to go down to the street to get through while they're repairing the sidewalks.
I don't know if the same thing happens in your cities, but here it's something we see very often.
Anyway, I'm left with the positive side: at least they're fixing things, at a snail's pace, but they're fixing things.
No solo trabajo en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, mi trabajo me permite caminar libremente por sus calles y es por eso que muchos de mis post son de edificaciones antiguas o monumentos históricos ya que me gusta sacar fotografías a esas cosas y después compartirla con ustedes.
Hoy le saqué a esta calle que están arreglando, pero a modo de dar a conocer una situación insólita.
Por un lado está bien que el gobierno de la ciudad esté atento a las veredas rotas que muchas veces las romper los de edesur (empresa de la luz en la ciudad ).
Pero por otro lado no puede ser que hace tres semanas que están con esta vereda en reparación, sobre todo en el casco histórico de la ciudad donde las veredas son muy angostas y hay que bajar a la calle para poder pasar cuando están arreglando las veredas.
No se si en sus ciudades pasa lo mismo, pero acá es algo que se vive muy a menudo.
De todas maneras me quedo con lo positivo, por lo menos arreglan, a paso de tortuga, pero arreglan.
