Steem Stars [Team 7] : Curation Report For Week 01
Team Steem Stars had a very rough time in the first week of April 2025 as we experienced what we haven't thought of experiencing someday. We didn't receive the key to steemcurator09's account on the first day of April and we were quite calm because we knew something like that has happened to some curation teams in the past.
It became a very serious situation on the 3rd day of April when we were still without the key, we decided to raise alarm immediately. We contacted three (3) steem representatives to see what they can do about it. They tried to find out why we haven't gotten the key yet and they also assured us that we will get the key soon.
My teammates and I were always checking our discord/telegram inbox incase the key has been sent, but we were always disappointed. We made a comment on the April curators announcement post by steemitblog too, concerning the situation, hoping to get a reply. We still didn't get the key, we were really worried and also curious to know the reason such a thing was happening.
On the 5th day of April 2025 I checked on @steemcurator09's blog and the account was really active 5 days ago. I don't know if something like this has happened before but I must say that this is the first time am seeing such a thing in steemit, a steemcurator account inactive for more than 3 days. My teammates and I kept on praying to receive the key soon. I told my friend about it too and she helped my team to create an awareness of what was happening.
Steemcurator01 commented on her awareness post and it was that comment that gave my teammates and I a whole lots of hope. Finally we received the key on Monday 7th April 2025. We were so delighted about that. According to the timetable in our Curation Guidelines post, I was the one to curate on that Monday. Immediately I received a message that we have received the key, I began curation at once.
To sum it all, I was the only one that curated posts and comments in week 1, I filled the sheet we have with the links of the posts and comments I curated and they are 22 in number. Here's 👇a statistics for the hashtags, writing, thediarygame and betterlife are topping the table.

My teammates @aviral123, @fannyescobar and I decided to select only one post for week 1 nomination because of what we experienced in week 1 and like I said earlier, I was the only one that curated.

The post is all about a tutorial on how to make pizza, I decided to nominate it because of how standard the post is, it has more than 6 steps and there's alot of quality pictures in the post that helps us to easily understand the tutorial. The author is more than qualified to reach for the stars.
