Oil Pitha Teler Pitha is a type of traditional cake that is mainly deep-fried in oil, hence the name. First, flour or sticky dough is fermented to create a batter. After kneading, the dough is shaped into small or medium-sized cakes. Then, they are rolled on a wooden board and placed in a bowl. A pan (korai) is heated on the stove for some time, and oil is added and allowed to heat up.

Next, four pieces of the prepared pitha are fried together in the hot oil. This pitha is very tasty when eaten hot and freshly fried. It goes especially well with meat curry or any juicy dish. This pitha is not commonly found in the market, as people usually make it at home.

When guests come over, this pitha is often prepared at home. It has a yellowish color and is delicious in every way. You can try making this tasty pitha at home — it will definitely be enjoyable. Today, we made oil pitha at night and really enjoyed eating it.
